Named GP Statement

All patients registered with a surgery are allocated a named, accountable GP who is responsible for overseeing care and ensuring access to health services. This does not mean they have 24-hour responsibility for the patients.

This GP takes lead responsibility for coordinating your care and support, including working with other health and social care professionals as necessary. Having a named GP does not prevent you from seeing any other clinician in the practice—you are free to choose a named GP and to see any GP or practitioner based on availability.

If you would like to know who your named GP is or wish to request a specific GP, please speak with our reception team. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preference, although this may not always be possible.

This arrangement does not affect the way you access urgent care or routine appointments
