Training practice

Our GP Registrars are fully qualified doctors. It is important for them to talk to people about their health and illnesses as this helps them understand how illnesses affect people and how they cope. We also have medical students and this helps their training to become doctors.

We would hope that you would work with us in helping these GP Registrars or medical students meet their training needs.  Having a medical student present during consultation is entirely voluntary and if you would rather not have a medical student present, please let either the Receptionist know or the doctor you are seeing.

GP net earnings

The average pay for GPs working in Villa Medical Centre for the last financial year was  £82,940 before tax and national insurance.

This is for two full-time GPs, one part-time GP, three salaried GPs and one locum GP, all of whom worked in the Practice for more than six months.
